About Us

My passion for landscaping was derived from the wonderful, adventurous experiences at my grandfather’s nursery. I was fortunate to have the influence of my grandfather, Lorenzo Lauriente, and his brother, Ciro Lauriente, who together established one the most sought-after nurseries in the area.
As a young child, I would visit the nursery as often as possible to play on the stacked bales of peatmoss, climb on the tractors, and run thru the greenhouse full of geraniums and roses. Those experiences planted the seeds of my future without knowing!

With a degree in Environmental Design and Plant and Soil Science, By Design Landscape Concepts, Inc. was born. Since 1989, we have established a vision for exceptional, unique landscapes by blending natural resources and horticultural practices. Our distinctive landscapes create beauty and bring the environment into harmony with our living style.

Our vision from the start, is to provide meticulous, professional landscape designs with attention to detail and an eye towards creativity, ultimately, making our first impression a lasting one.
